A couple of months in and my Sic is still spotless just from qtipping after every hit or two dry 1st than final qtip with a drop of water or iso, than leave heat on after for a few minutes.

I been using a drop down , this way if it does get stuck i just take off the drop down and empty it that way. I don't find it a problem though really as the joint is usully cool in under a minute and i am good to unload/reload.

I pack mine loose and than just tamp the top ever so lightly so nothing spills out or moves around during a hit. I never pack it down as it does not need it .

No one can predict what can happen to you , it all depends on the police and what they feel is right to do if caught. In all honesty you should be fine , probably safer to have a clean cooling unit. Worst case they may take it away but if its completely clean you are all good and i wouldn't worry.
