Yer welcome. I wouldn't put too much faith in that being right part, had to happen sooner or later....... Yes, as the saying goes 'you don't have to stick your face in the campfire to get high'. Lucky for us that is true. When we first smoked pot it was nasty. Remember? Smoke in your...

Hey, don't be so hard on yourself.....you were younger then, right? Great upgrade. Not only will your weed bill go WAY down (I'd say the average is to 1/4 or 1/3 of former consumption) since you're no longer burning up THC in come ill conceived fire. And, since you're also eliminating lots of...

I'm thinking that's a mighty easy prediction to make......and an extremely small risk of being wrong? Welcome indeed. Tasty choice for a first vape for sure. OF

First off, IMO under one percent is outstanding. Pretty clear evidence you know what you're doing with those products. Workmanship errors alone (not including component failure) can easily exceed that. Kudos to the assembly/test/QC folks. For sure the whole thing hinges on RCAs (Root Cause...

Some fun discussion of hit 'holding times' going on. I'd like to add another element to the discussion and offer my opinions? A missing and IMO supremely important factor is particle size. My understanding is while grossly large particles typically never make it out of most vapes (instantly...

So true. His enthusiasm is infectious, clearly sincere. Hard not to consider seriously. We could use more like him, just not all at the same time....... Kinda scares the women and horses from time to time, but I'm against running him off. Just keep him away from your glass. OF

Vapor Genie. There's a 'secret decoder list' around somewhere.....the Lounge maybe? VG technology uses a SiC (very tough, they make machine tools from it) heat exchanger. Lots of guys call it a 'filter', but it's not...... It's 'bowl diameter (say 3/4 inch or so) and maybe 3/8 thick and made...

That, I think is the usual experience? Not universal, of course, but what guys can expect? Many/most of the surfaces that can contribute taste fairly quickly get coated by a layer of condensate. In hazards remediation this is called 'encapsulation'. Sometimes done in a formal manufacturing...

Much superior IMO. It contains a bunch of conditioners and stuff to deal with hard water, contamination of the wash water and so on. Surfacants and such. I only tried Oxyclean a couple of times, but PBW definitely did a better job for me. There's some discussion on 'substitutes' in the PBW...

Good luck. If we don't hear back from you in the near future we'll assume it went really well...... As it should. OF

Interesting. 'Smells like solder'? But solder doesn't smell (vapor pressure of Lead is trivial even molten, Tin less even), perhaps the smell you cite is from the flux used? The same sort of alloy is used in bullet casting and Linotype, only at much higher temperatures without such issues...

Beats me which is best for you. IMO only you can sort that out? Try it 'both ways' enough times so you have an informed opinion and go for it. Some guys pull the stem then 'hit' it until it cools off to stop vapor, for a host of reasons. Some of us are too lazy to mess with all that (and...

Very reassuring. Given all the chaos and hate in the world these days, you've no idea how important it is to know the really important stuff continues on as it should. Thanks for being who (and what) you are. OF

Another fun thing to do with PBW for your consideration: You know that old bong you hide away because it's just so gross with the fouling from blazing you can't seem to get out? Put in a dash of PBW and fill it with hot tap water. Then stand back a bit and watch closely..... You know how...

Bummer. Have you tried removing the 'battery' (it's really not a battery, but a single cell......) for long enough for the processor to 'die'? Say a full minute even. If it 'just got lost' it should boot up normally and soldier on. Actual hardware faults can't be helped this way of course...

Glad he found his way back home, I sure wasn't interested in some lesser Forum just to chat with him....... I'm not actually sure I checked out VA, but I checked out a pile of the others a while back, very disappointing really IMO. FC is the call for me, clearly superior due to our beloved...

I don't really think that's the reason. Because I 'know' Solo/Air/ArGo is really conduction driven (the 'heated air' is just not hot enough to do the work), there's a lively discussion of just this going on: http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/arizer-portable-heater-tech-discussion.25914/ And...

Yer welcome, good trick, that. Also worth trying is a teaspoon of PBW in the dishwasher, the stuff they add to combat hard water wipes out the 'haze' that builds up in there over time as rinse water dries. A 'super detergent' if you will? OF
