So, for shits and giggles , I tried rolling a very thin worm of errl and loading it through the hole in the Vortex cap. With a gentle suction it goes right in there! I have also discovered that the ball tip on my @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd dabber fits perfectly to further carb the hole on the Vortex cap.

This is good but I chose the round pyrex chamber with the reversible/replaceable silicone gasket. The one in that pic is stuck to the top with adhesive.

Well, I've been in touch with Errlecrtic today and am in the process of ordering the Herb Nail. My contact is offering a 20% FC discount so that eases the pain a bit. Now I'm exited. There will be video!

All this is definately pushing me towards getting the Dry Herb Nail. All of this testing has definately proven the concept. I need a spare setup for my Errlectric anyway. I don't want to be left [not] high and dry if my coil fails.

The almighty dollar! Their price point isn't for everyone. Some would rather DIY and make an enail. I'm a total DIY guy, but I just didn't want to mess with this one. I have already been burned out of one home by a fire. And being made in USA locked it in for me.

The pics look good. Except for the strange purple crumble.:shrug: Only a few very small bubbles. I feel better about it after @herbivore21 giving the ok to properly purger Methanol extract. But...I'll pass. I'll stick with tane and KX. Don't they put something in methanol to discourage...
