With the little removeable cup on the end, when you dab and get reclaim, gravity (and a little help from a torch if need be) will pull all the reclaim into the dish on the end. You can remove the dish when it gets full and dab with your reclaim.

You might be able to heat that with a torch and get it to seal. I cant promise you it wont break when it cools down since you dont have a kiln to put it in but thats a REALLY trivial repair.. like hit it with a hand torch until the hole seals and toss it in the kiln or melt a little more glass...
