Yeah it shouldnt be glowing solid orange at vaping temps, should be partially white. Some that i've seen barely glow at all at vaping temps in fact. But as 2clicker said, full-blast it should glow pretty much solid orange, and should def be able to burn herb.

I'm 99% sure vaping tonight would have no ill effect. And i'm pretty certain that a couple vape hits wont hurt things afterward. Luckily thats all it takes with vape usually.

I gotta agree with this one. It always took me a good 5-10 mins to vape a LB trench well, mainly because i had to take slow ~20sec long hits most of the time. But if you have really potent, well dried and finely ground herb and/or a lower tolerance and only need a couple hits to get there, it...

All a matter of opinion really. Even if you do go with the GG style, i still think the downward angle of the heatercover and heavier (its metal instead of plastic) base of the SSV make it better. Sure, if you're tight on money you can get a DBV and mod it to be about identical in functionality...
