I am currently down to 483F reading on my controller on my SiC dish. I sat at 525F for a while but wanted to see how low i can go. I have noticed much smoother hits at lower temps. Next week, I will go down to 475F.

There is a sale on CCA710 and because of this sale, i decided to pick one up. I just order a flat coil with SiC insert and tsunami carp cap and a flat dabber for $204 shipped. Next up is a glass carb cap and sapphire insert. Cant wait for sapphire!

look at www.mininail.com for there nails. They have a spacer for to use for 20mm and 16mm. I dont know how they perform as i only have a flat coil. but you can buy that nail base, then buy the SiC halo and V2 carb cap. I have used the mininail base with SiC halo and V2 carb cap.

Yes, most are using the D-Nail SiC dish with the D-nail slim base with a flat coil heater. Capped with the D-Nail V2 Ti carb cap.

What I did was bring the temp down 7 degrees on the controller each week until I get pooling. So far good at 489F.

Enails are great but what is even better is the surface material you dab on. I would suggest you invest in a quartz or SiC dish. (Silicone Carbide) They are way better than Ti. I am using a SiC dish on my enail and currently dabbing at 488F but looking into a thermometer/coupler to test...
