I'm assuming the new unit I received just last week has updated firmware. Emails from the company allude to if not say this explicitly. It does perform better than my original un-updated unit from September. I do have an Android.

That will work, but stirring each time and over packing will be bigger clouds and more of them. It's not even close; I'd prefer the easier/lazier way but the results are not quite as good.

I've been using my moded firefly 2 quite a lot lately. Use a sewing needle and tack hammer to ever so slightly increase hole size, over pack slightly, set on high, and stir every toke---and the vapor is quite nice and easy flowing!

When mine worked on occasion, I would put the crucible in upside down. Helped the screen stay cleaner, longer, by having it on the bottom. Curiously, as at least another mentioned, the loading may be easier this way.

If you're getting charring, make sure it's clean and the holes aren't clogged. I have two and neither will char at high settings when clean. But get some holes clogged and over pack and don't stir and u can char and/or combust. I widdened the holes in one unit just slightly and there is...
