I went to Home Depot today, and got a few random bits of stuff but no luck with a cap. It would be cool to find a cap that is made of metal that fits just right.. So that you could put it on the stem if it's still hot when you're done. I found something that is barely too big. I'll keep...

In my quest to find a stem cap, I have not yet succeeded. I don't think I'll have any luck with chap stick tubes, but I haven't walked around in a Home Depot or Lowes yet, I'll take a look next week and see what I find..

hmm, saran wrap is a bit of a hassle for on the go, not so much that you couldn't do it, but I'll still keep my eyes open for a DIY cap solution. I've spent $10 on random crap with caps on it so far, hopefully I'll strike gold soon..

that's what she said! Also if i were you after you're done, let it sit in there while it cools, i think it helped with mine a bit.

i got mine 2 days ago. It took me at least 10 minutes of gently pushing the stem into the solo while on the highest heat. Good luck and be patient!

Dang not a mflb owner.. I'll keep my eyes out for something, maybe a chapstick cap that is the right size or something, i'll post if i find something. Also if anybody wants a tutorial on the sharpie thing lemme know, i'll probably be doing it again because i used pliers on part of it because i...

That is a good idea! I went to the store and just looked for random stuff, and found that the king size sharpies are the perfect size: There is a pinch of cotton in the top and bottom of the tube, so it doesn't rattle inside or anything. I might put a thin layer of something on the...

Has anybody thought of a good protective case idea for the straight glass stem? I'm going to go shopping today at a rite aid or something, looking for something I can turn into a pocket case that will protect it, maybe put some padding inside it. I'll post here if I find something that works...

^ just got mine as well, would love to see these re-answered if anyone feels like typing out potentially repeated information. Not saying they're necessarily answered or not, didn't check like Nkliph did ha

Nice! People have been saying that they've been getting the 107 model from amazon even though the sellers say it's the 106, so maybe i'll luck out. Either way i'm just excited to have my first vape :D

Thanks for the advice! I contacted the Amazon seller that seems to sell all of the Solos, and they said they sell the 106 model. Not the newest, but will work for me. Thanks!

I am fairly set on buying the Arizer Solo as my first vape.. But I noticed that there are several versions of it out there. Which version is the best? Usually older would mean worse, but the older ones have a ceramic heating element, which I have heard is more desireable. I was browsing...

ha this looks cool, can't wait to see more reviews! I have been looking at the Vapor Blunt, but now that I found this I'm a tad more interested in it. The VB is probably more fun and useful with groups, but i'm mostly looking for a personal vape. I don't need a very big bowl, and this vape seems...

    Discontinued The Palm by Vaporblunt

I like it.. The more the final released product looks like a classic old pipe the better IMO, so I like that. If the battery life is significantly better than the mflb then I'm a fan. I would have already bought a mflb if the batteries weren't such a chore to deal with. Was leaning towards the...

    Smoking vs Vaporizing: Sinus dryness

Right, using a bong or bubbler or other (i've seen some elaborate setups..) seems like the way to go, with a vaporizer. I was looking at portable vapes before, like the vapor blunt, and I suppose I could use something like that with a bubbler, though I'd have to ditch the bubbler in on the go...

    Smoking vs Vaporizing: Sinus dryness

Thanks for the replies! I didnt even know that water filtration was a thing.. Unless you're referring to hooking up a vape to a bong with water.. I'll read into it.
