Bubblers don't seem to make too much difference. You can hold the easy valve onto both 14 & 18mm hydratubes without adapters & get a good seal. I don't find it any better with water but some people prefer it.

Neither valves leak however the seals will degrade over a period of time depending on usage. Both come with extra fittings & O-rings allowing you to replace if needed. The solid valve bags require a small amount of assembly & the easy valves come ready to use but cost 4x as much. In my opinion...
