I had totally forgotten that I had aniline dye until today . I love the way the burl takes the dye, it really brings it to another level. Steel Core Amphora Body

Both are great choices. I would get your hands on a Woody then order a Ti body later.

    Winegums' Woodcraft

Hey guys, I'm not sure how much longer I'm going to be able to make these as I'm starting to run into issues keeping myself a float as far as sales volume goes. I love making things but I'm not sure if I can sustain myself doing it. Anyways, the next few weeks will really decide if it's an...

That is a sweet design. Could you add a magnet into the end of the cover possibly?

I'm noticing the same thing. I have my Omni pretty much fully choked and leave my vapcap standing in my water pieces after hits, (which I suspect is the main reason why I have resin around the condenser tip). When the vapcap is positioned vertically with the mouth piece down the hot resin is...

I've been running a similar setup with a whole bunch of SS screens rolled into a cylinder shape, and some hemp fibre w/Ti CCD added to the very top to keep the SS pad clean. I tend to do single hits with a 2mm drop of concentrate and it milks my water pieces. Metal mesh is the way to go.

Using more Weed in vaporizer than when i smoked.

This thread was a good read. I'm glad you found what you're looking for @Guggsy. It's worth noting that the hotter you get the weed the closer the high will be to a combustion high. Some of the more intense effects don't show up until over 425°F. My Herbalizer set to 430-440 is about as close...

The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

I think that the Mighty excels at group session vaping, it has enough capacity for 3-5 people depending on tolerance, and will vape 6-7 bowls on a charge which is great. I think $500 is just about too much for the vape but does offer an experience that rivals my Herbalizer. One huge down...

    Winegums' Woodcraft

I'm glad to see it arrived! About the 43.5mm length. I've been purposely making my body length pieces about 1 mm shorter to allow more adjustment on the Omni. I find that I'm at the limits of adjustment for the level of choke I want and on the other end of the spectrum the first few mm of...

@stardustsailor I think precious metal rings would be really nice, but also expensive. I'd love to do some work with gold when I can. Inlay might be a better way of applying it to a stem which would be fun to try. I think I'll perfect my method of making pieces with common metals before I move...

You're going to oxidize your cap at an accelerated rate causing wear and possible cracking later on. It also could cause a hot spot and burn part of your load which is never fun. Some rotation will be better than none, IMO. If you're having difficulty spinning the vapcap, you can slowly rotate...

I find that my experience between my 4G Ti and my M is the same as yours. The 316L SS is far more dense than the Gr2 Ti and thus holds a lot more thermal energy. I'm usually able to touch my Ti tip shortly after the cool down click, where the M stays hot for far longer. I've nearly burned myself...

    Dynavap VapCap

I've always attributed the tickle at the back of my throat to terpenes and cannabinoids condensing on there. I only get it with dense vapour hits like what the metal Vapcaps produce, and it's certainly not due to the temperature since I'm going through water and an Omni with plenty diffusion...

I experimented with some copper this morning and I'm loving how it turned out. It's much easier to work with over the bronze I was using before. I think pairing the copper with maple and cherry was the right choice as they all have similar tones; the black walnut was added for contrast. Again...
