I've had my Errlectric since November. I have 3 different nail/coil setups. (Ti , Herb Nail, FQN Banger). It never glows red. Ever. With any coil. It does not overshoot by more than a few degrees either. But it is different than a standard PID. It has no adjustment other than temp, off...

The protection fuse needs to be used with ANY battery configuration in the "8". It is the only short circuit protection in the 8. Use it for safeties sake.
