This issue can be corrected by placing two screens at the bottom of the bowl so the stem is lifted slightly of the holes! :)

Thank you. The subject I thought? Was draw speed and or hit size. I have never smoked out of a box vaporizer so I cant comment on how they hit. Looking at how there designed I have no doubt you are correct the solo will never compare. I do know that the stem in the solo I own sits on top of the...

Great idea! Two screens work just as good. Im not trying to peddle my disk. Heck theyre hard to make. I priced them to for those who value craftsmanship. I did not make this disk to try to sell them. I just wanted people to see how I fixed my problem. :)

For all of you that are having problems getting monster hits with your Solo. The problem is the stem. It sits on the holes on the bottom of the bowl. Lift your stems up. Use screens. Jambandphan03 used screens. The problem is the stem it sits right on top of the air flow holes at the bottem...

I total agree I harvest my stem honey and mix it with the pollen (so its not sticky) and vaporize it on the bad days. (Medical)

Youre right the sky is the limit. You could make so many different variations. I see your point on committing to a design. Your design also seems to have an interactive type of appeal. I cant tell you how many times I loaded my solo and let it roast with out even one hit. You wont have that...

I understand about the breakage, you can see mine is broken. I used Pyrex just like you. Im not trying to change your mind brother, you have been doing great. My suggestion is just that a suggestion. That being said what if you were to make your unit a holder/heater/base where you would insert...

Hi Hippie I was looking over your design and I am amazed! What a great job, I have an idea for you. Along time ago I used to use a home made vaporizer. I made it out of a test tube and a piece of glass tube. Think this might work on your system with little modification. Heres a pic. The air goes...

Try warming up the unit before you put the stem in. The heat should expand the bowl a bit. As you use it should get better. Happy vapeing!

Stainless Steel disk was punched from 316 Sheet 24 Gauge, 0.024". The holes are punched and youre right they do make dimples, but I found I had to re flatten the disk because the airflow was restricted. The punched inside lip of the holes lay flat on the bottom of the bowl so no air could get...

I tried the screen too and your right it works good. Honey oil was my main reason for the disk If you noticed I have a dimple in the center of the disk, that was the first dimple punched. It was to be a holder for the little glob of honey. The other dimples were added later so the disk would sit...
