    Discontinued Pax Vaporizer by Ploom

yeah... that's what I am saying... trash the stand, add a USB port, make the mouth piece moving parts not prone to sticking, add a stainless steel mesh accessory fitted to the oven for packing smaller loads, make all parts in vapor path easily removable for cleaning, add stronger magnets for the...

    Discontinued Pax Vaporizer by Ploom

Originally, I purchased two different Pax. Had them for about 8 months, and they get used a lot. I had one repaired for the charging issue. They buttressed the contact points on the charger. Which I assume they do to all new models now (why wouldn't they?) and my newest model has not had the...

    Discontinued Pax Vaporizer by Ploom

yeah they can be persnickety... But after figuring out the quirks and working around them, it's the nicest portable I have used by a significant margin. The charging issue has happened to two of mine. But the newest is going fine. The newest model seems less prone to problems, maybe they have...

I feel for ya; Europe is stupid expensive for everything... And the taxes are so hidden it's deceptive and arbitrary.

Ascent Vaporizer - The Ordering, Shipping, & Other Nonsense thread

Can't say i am too worked up over delays or pre-registration issues... I purchased back in the beginning of May. But since I own a Pax, and it's awesome, can't say I am too worked up. The Ascent (edit--haha--so not worked up didn't even remember the name :) ) I am sure I will like as well...

    Discontinued Pax Vaporizer by Ploom

someone else posted this a while back, but vape and store the Pax with the oven down, especially when still hot... it helps keep the resin in the oven, if not gravity takes over and the resin travels down the unit to the mouth piece.... use a piece of stainless steel wool on top of your flowers...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

That's cool; I wasn't trying to say your dishonest or anything like that... I was just saying that it might help others, in your shoes, if you don't reveal what they say... that is if they help accommodate you... In other words, they might be more willing to help a few people case by case, but...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

My bet is your (least expensive) option is to go with the $350 promo if you want an Eagle right away in October. If you had not have sold the cloud + and also had purchased an extended warranty on that cloud + for $150, you could have paid $100 for the trade in promo.. But since you sold it to...

    Discontinued Pax Vaporizer by Ploom

Definitely, Ploom can't even get the rubber o-rings back in; one of mine popped out and they just sent me a new unit because they said they could not repair that. They're so good about the warranty.... just send it in.

    Discontinued Pax Vaporizer by Ploom

pax = sleeker and more portable, and nobody bats an eye in public if they can't smell it; solo = marginally better cloud production and consistency, but an awkward brick with a glass straw in public, which people look at strangely.

ime, you can pretty much always get another cloud by stirring just about any vape with flowers in it... but it ain't always all that great.

Personally, my MFLB gets me just as high as my Cloud.... even with less material; it's more efficient in ime. More manual operation, but once you get the knack of it--the MFLB is quality vape--producing nice clouds! Not as consistent big clouds, but it's as good as any vape out there.

Thanks man. Couple follow up questions. You say your getting multiple sessions from packing of a bowl. How quickly does the unit cool down? Does the unit continue to cook material between sessions? Also, ancillary question, can you recommend an inexpensive scale that works down to .02 grams...
