Well, we know from previous updates that they have been getting at least some amount of pre-Indiegogo funding from the beginning, so it wouldn't be surprising.

I'm in it at this point. I considered getting a refund back in September, but now I've pretty much parted with the money in my mind. Either I get a badass vape, or I don't. Although I feel pretty confident I will get it at -some- point. Maybe not for 3 or 4 more months.

It does seem odd to me, but weird statistical anomalies like that -do- happen more often than people think...I really want to believe them, I go back and forth over how I feel about it every day. I know I've seen at least 2, maybe 3 people who had multiple Firefly's break down on them...

They reported a 5% failure rate -before- the new parts revisions. Lots of people are saying that can't possibly be right, but I watch reddit and here religiously, and I think I've seen maybe 50 or 60 total posters with Grasshoppers. Lots of those -were- failures, and some were multi failures...

At this point, I don't know what people really want to hear. They've told us their manufacturing capacity, we know approximately where they are in the queue, and they've given us their approximate failure rate. I mean, there's constant speculation that they're lying, and they -could- be. At this...

With my free preorder battery I'll have 4 for my single hopper, I think I'll be okay, but I might buy one more, just in case. That'll give me 4 to carry in my case I'm going to get from @Ratchett, and one I can leave at home all the time...hmm...yes..

I can't remember who, but I know there was at least one FCer that had the exploded back end problem, I'd think one of them would have noticed if there was glue in it...
