It will likely not damage the battery tab. They are pretty springy and it the exact same length and the battery...I would be surprised if it did.

I like bringing the mighty to temp before dropping the dosing capsule in...increases convection. Also the capsules seem like they do well dumped hot to keep vaping a bowl later!
