The screen is blank and never worked. It seems that it's the power cable that goes to the fire button that prevents me from pulling out the PCB. It's thick but I don't have much experience with soldering on PCBs.

I think what's really putting me off for now is the need to disconnect the battery before you can safely put this in a bag or pocket. An off switch that disconnects the button would be great but I get that it would require a re-design so I probably just need to wait for the regulated version.
