I'd contact customer service. Sounds to me like a loose jack, which on a product in this price range is not acceptable. I'm sure they will replace your unit with another upon finding this out.

The PV stems aren't necessary by any means, they are just nice. I use the standard stems though. I always push the herb into the stem pretty tight and then blow lightly over it to remove any small particles that will fall on the heater to ruin the taste. Works pretty well. Newest models all...

Yes, I am quite sure. I think there was a lot of resin/particulate in the water and that got stuck to the inside of the bamboo. It's not running any more hot than usual. Did your cloud start combusting after a blow back or was the damage caused by something else?

Anything that you can evaporate completely off tinfoil will work fine in this. Give it a try.

I use the kangers as well and they are great... I use a dremel to cut them down real small (like 1cm) so that the coil is easily accessible.

I like to think of the solo as being a sort of "convect-duction" vape. There is a big conduction heating effect, but the convection action of it is very significant. I think it might be closer to a 50/50 split of the two types of heating in action with the solo.
