Yeah thx, I know about the temp/timeout thing. Just wondering if it's similar to what I've heard for the TA which apparently gives a perfect roast if you set the Wand to max temp and wait for the timeout. I think it's around a minute.

Do you just heat on highest setting until timeout? Can you say how long in seconds or flashes for cold heatup and re-heat. I'd appreciate the info.

Hmmm, maybe so. I don't go over 400F in session or demand mode unless I'm using concentrates so I've never encountered this.

I disagree. In on-demand mode the bowl stays at room temp unless you push the button. Once you stop pushing the button the temp plummets again. Nothing happens to my weed if I don't draw in this mode. Of course once you draw the bowl will absorb some heat from the hot air flowing through it...

Agree with this 100%. Little torn or crumbled nuggs works best I find. Took me a while to figure this out. I even keep some pre-crumbled or torn little nuggs in a container to load the ALP with. Don't pack the bowl firmly, just pour in little nuggs or torn flower. I like to start on session...

Never had any issues with my Wand and Dynavaps or anything else I've heated with it. The DV caps do expire after a while and need to be changed when they start combusting even before a click. I don't use an insert either.

Wow. Tough crowd 😂 I agree though, I never liked it one bit when I smoked joints. It was usually done as a way to "stretch" your weed and also, dry tobacco could help prevent the cherry from going out if the weed was too wet.

I've been just tapping the cap against something hard and/or holding the cap while shaking the whole stem about halfway through the bowl. It's a crude form of "stirring" without pouring stuff out but it seems to work really well for me. Much more even ABV.

I agree! The taste on the ALP is divine. I find pipe cleaners sprayed with alcohol work really well to clean the small areas on the ALP instead of q-tips.
