Feathering the carb is the way to go with this unit. You get good hits and don't strain yourself pulling. I personally have had way more success using this over the VM but I probably have poor technique.

The VG was my first vape. I think it's a great tool. I always use a regular lighter with not much problem. You shouldn't need anything additional, in my opinion.

@1150A Just so you know, the Grasshopper and Zion aren't instantly available at this point. I would throw the Summit into the mix. Quick heat time but the battery life isn't the best.

No. Never have or felt the need to use it. I think my Air performs better than my Solo. Probably just a mental thing though.

You may have a bad unit? I have no issue getting visible vapor. I even get light vapor on blue. I usually run my at green and I get satisfying clouds. I don't really have any remedies except to trade it in for a different unit. Good luck! Welcome to the forum.:wave:
