Everything I read says 5 seconds is to short of a time...but it works for me. Any quartz users know if that's ok? Another issue I'm having is that when I heat the nail, the quartz nail starts smoking because of the residue left on the nail. Is that normal?

When I torch I am finding that a vector nitro is heating up my 18mm quartz nail in 5 seconds. If I hit it right away I get a solid hit. Is 5 seconds enough time? Or is there any benefit to heating the nail till it glows red (15 seconds) and then letting it cool for 10 seconds? To me it seems...

But isn't oil reclaim just oil? I'm talking about using ISO on only my pieces that were used for oil. They don't have nasty resin build up like glass you SMOKE herb through...the ISO would be dark yellow and once the ISO evaporates it should just be reclaim oil. I would think that what's left...
