@scottio19: I'd stay away from the electrical tape, it'll just make a mess. A strip of aluminum foil wrapped around the stem works, but the 3/8" UD stems fit nicely in a 14mm GG fitting if you put a chamfer on them with a razor blade. I'd go for an adapter, they're handy to have anyway!! edit...

MarcellusWiley, how far from the end of the stem is your screen? Screen placement is a big factor in temperature with the UD. Somebody here uses two stems, one with the screen far away and one closer to finish the load. I use my Twig for tiny loads with the bong and the screen is about 3/4" from...

Underdog seems to be saying "Isn't it about time we went in the house and relaxed?" For anyone looking for good pokers I always use blowgun darts. They're very cheap and the brightly colored ends make them easy to find... Extra bonus if you get a blowgun, it's amazing how accurate you can get...
