I think the reason why it never stops blinking after you've used it for a while is because there is plenty of hot thermal mass after it's been on for a while. I can't really comment on draw speed right now because I haven't been able to use my Aromed for about a month, due to broken herb holders.

If you ever break a heater cover cleanly near the bend, consider trying this: Tips: Cover the heater with the broken end down. Invert the wand screen. Use a second bowl-shaped screen so you can make a kinda UFO-shaped weed sandwich.
