I use warm, salty water in mine. A couple TSP of salt and about 1.5 cups of hot water, like hot tea or coffee temp. You want some steam but not boiling water.

I have had great luck with using a Dynavap for extracting hash & kief. Hash is easier to work with, but if you have even a thin "bed" of herb down first, you can pack the rest of the chamber full of kief.

Is this due to the added conductive heating? I am thinking about upgrading my main setup from a Dynavap + homemade IH to a ball vape or equivalent log vape. I just need to do more research and saving up. Trying to keep it at $200ish max.
