I'm really curious about this setup – thanks for sharing. How evenly does the XL cook with the glass WPA? Are you using the Roffu screen or the basket screen @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd includes with the WPA?

Insane... I was going to order it but then realized I was about to spend $50 with shipping on just a cap. I am going to wait to hear feedback – my FMJ and Vaphit XL are working great and only cost $10 and $20 respectively. Granted, this comes with a cap but it still seems excessive.

People have been using them without the bottoms but not without the top…You need some sort of screen over the herb. However, you can get some screens if you go that route. There are links in this thread!

I really like the vibe at The Rookies and the bud was decent.

For what it's worth I don't think the V3 has better flavor than the Edge. Maybe the Fury 2 though. I used the Edge pretty much all the time before I got my V3 – and have since moved onto the Roffu.

I've had both. I think there are pros and cons to each. V3 has a slimmer profile and is simple to use. Roffu is more fiddly, but I find the heater is stronger. It's also a lot more "premium" feeling vs the V3 which is "budget" feeling. I got rid of the V3 for the Roffu and I like it better...
