I don’t think there would be enough surface area at that point to work. You would be hearing metal to then heat the glass but the air would be passing through a hot tube at that point and there just wouldn’t be enough surface area to dump heat. Kind of like when the weed eater got drilled out...

I went with the bent one, I think where it will sit on my desk that one will give me the best angel without having to stand up to take a hit. I use a whip most of the time so I have a couple 18mm whip adapters laying around.

I prefer the stainless bowl to the glass one atm. Not to sure why. I guess I need to spend more time with my joda bowl. The convector tip is still the best experience I have found to date though but it’s a bit finicky on a wpa.

I imagine the new design can come with both 14 and 18 at a much much cheaper cost than having two bowls. Plus the 18mm to 14mm adapters are usually ugly imo.
