They're supposed to be at 80% in 20-30 minutes, I believe (someone correct me if I'm wrong.) The rest of the time is to finish it off. You're fine. It's not recommended to "over charge" your batteries anyway.

I don't think I've every put the battery back on immediately, but I have put an unused battery back on the charger after a while and it did blink for a minute or two before going solid. I think it's normal/fine.

If I had to guess, I would say that it's the color you ordered. They've been staggered and dependent on color since the first pre-orders started going out. I can understand why it would bother you, but it's not new and it's been at least somewhat documented in this very thread.

If the battery indicator is your only issue, I'd give it a shot. The batteries last pretty long, and if you have 2 fully charged batteries they should last you a while. It is an inconvenience though. They are supposedly working on the battery indicator issues so we should (hopefully) see it...
