D-Nail has released a lab made sapphire insert. They are supposedly superior to the ceramic inserts, although I don't know how. $50 a pop too, I believe.

The Riptide is best suited for dabs. I've found that if you get the vortex going before you drop the dab and keep a steady draw going that the vortex will remain intact during the hit. Shoot. I need to add a video to this or it's gonna go bye-bye. Edit: video added

That seems to be a bigger problem than the design flaw that I'm talking about, which also leaves the version of that quartz nail rather useless even in perfect condition.

Don't cut your silicone slick pad if it has the crisscrossed fibers within. Those fibers are fiberglass and when the pad is cut and the fibers are exposed and frayed from being cut, you have the possibility of getting fiberglass in your oil. Not good.

There already is! There are so many iterations of the same thing out there, it's insane. Just search "nail" on Instagram and at least a dozen different Enails pop up.

Their quartz nails are a problem because of the placement of the floor of the dish. It's too low below the coil so a lot of pooling occurs. They need the redesigned nails with the the raised floor that sits at the middle of the coil.

As I said, I used Indiegogo one other time and had no issue. What's the problem? Are people not allowed to be pissed off when they feel like they've been jerked around? To assume that I was in no way prepared to donate makes you sound like the dick you claim you're trying not to sound like...
