Ok about to cop one of these Smoant Knight 80s. $25 on Element Vape right now. There is an rba tank available that should work well. TCR ✓ Replaceable battery✓ I'm gonna replace the plastic tank with a wood one I will make.

I still want one of those actually, lol. Love the form factor.

Do you guys think I'd be able to mod one of these boro AIO mods to vape herb? The long chimney on these things seem like they'd make good herb chambers. A lot of the devices themselves have TCR, which would be handy. Nice form factor too.

Yes I made the wood part myself. The glass came off a joint I was given

DIY Haze Square coils and replacement batteries

I don't have a square, but would you mind showing the coils for those of us that aren't familiar?

Nah, my friend gave me some joints with these glass tips as mouthpieces. The Solo 2 glass is about 14.6mm, fyi. Make sure to post that new build when you get it! The vertical coils have been the easiest to get consistent results with.

Badass dude. I've been thinking about buying some of those cooling units to mess around with.

I'm pretty satisfied with performance. I haven't used any of my actual 510s in a while and prefer to mess around with this. Where are your airflow holes? I feel like you should be getting something even with the basic coils with that wire. Try inhaling more slowly. I'd try a cylinder coil if...

Double spiral coil made of one piece of wire. I based it off the MVT heater. Works okay, getting some hot spots.

I go for the thickest gauge available. Harder to make it glow and it vapes more evenly.

Herbie V2 by Vape Engineering - 510 dry herb vaporizer

Hope it's okay for me to post here. Here's another coil design I've tried, this one mesh. I really liked it at first. It was very hard to make it glow, which was my favorite thing about it. It was hard getting an even roast on wattage, I don't even bother with TCR anymore. I feel like it...

Resistance is .16 ohms. I use it at 25 watts.

I don't have an Herbie but I'm vaping on an RDA with a very very similar deck. I know it's not mesh, but this is best working coil I've found so far. https://postimg.cc/w1dZ5s5x It's the biggest gauge 316 stainless available.

I'm gonna have to try a heater like that. Here's another design on the impcognito, this one worked okay, not much better than stock. https://postimg.cc/JGws8VGs Also sharing this wooden body I made for the DC2. Made a little magnetic latching lid for it. The hole on top is for a 510 drip tip.

Just finished up this mesh heater on a vandy vape mesh rda. This mesh is pretty close to what a Splinter would use. It's working pretty well for now.

Oh man where to start. I've made a lot of wooden bodies over the years with just a drill, handsaw, some sandpaper, and an hour or two of free time. No machine shop required 1. Buy dowels instead of square blanks of wood. This will save a lot of time. You may not be able to buy the exact outer...

    StemPod by MPL

I had some very good luck with this on my Impcognito. It is the thickest 316 stainless steel gauge. I use it in wattage but you really gotta crank it up to get a good glow. Might be worth trying something similar in the stempod. https://postlmg.cc/MvVjbMG7
