Yeah I think pure beeswax needs to be cut with mineral oil. The walrus oil recommendation I think was something I saw KG Woodcrafts say when they were more active on fc. I bet she knows her wood, I just don’t know if she’d still stand by the walrus oil 😅

I wax mine every now and then to keep the wood protected and healthy. It looks a little better immediately after a waxing too. But Ralph mentioned that it isn’t necessarily something he does very often on his personal units, so I don’t think you need to stress about it. Also fwiw...

@VASked_Avenger! yeah that’s normal if you use w2c. It’s a lot of wattage to preheat it. If you’re going to daily drive it like that it’s worth having a few batteries. The percentage calculation is often inaccurate though. Mine will drop ~30% after a bit like that, but when I power it back on...

    Tinymight vs Minivap vs ...

Yeah, I enjoy the flavor too! And I’m usually not trying to get super slammed myself. I’m a lightweight relative to most around here, I think. Something that you casually sip is sort of at odds with the goal of good flavor as the terps will be gone, at least ime. So for me I’d rather just kill a...

    Brilliant Cut Grinder

Those look kinda big man! I'm sure you can make it work, but I don't think you'll be keeping them in the grinder or able to easily dump into smaller vapes that use basket screens or dynavaps. If you mostly use injectors its probably groovy though!

    Brilliant Cut Grinder

lol almost certainly. Its such a pain trying to move it juuuuuuust so to actually scoop up some flower and then get close enough to the magnet that it either all ends up on my desk or back in the grinder. I'll have to check his site and just get one next time they are in stock.

    Brilliant Cut Grinder

@redrum891 just my take, but the reason the BCG is a go to is its just a well thought out, premium product that really delivers, and I say this as someone who thought there was no way they could live up to the hype. They deliver a very consistent grind and require very little maintenance as the...

    Brilliant Cut Grinder

So I guess this is all still subject to change, but a stainless bcg is in theory coming this fall if everything goes well. Before ordering those two plates I wrote into gfl to ask if they had a color in stock (I need a plate for wednesdays, iykyk). When they confirmed they could help me out, I...

    Tinymight vs Minivap vs ...

Just so it’s clear, a vape is never going to be a joint. You can pack a larger bowl in any device—portable or desktop—to achieve this by taking a few hits and then coming back to the bowl later. Drawbacks are that flavor will suffer as many of the terpenes that give flower it’s flavor transition...

    Tinymight vs Minivap vs ...

For as much as you consume I would skip both of those and look at the various ball-based desktops (b0, pinky, taroma, or whatever fits your price range). Tinymight is a very nice portable, but I think these might be a better match for larger hits throughout the day. Cleaning for any of them is...

I don’t think anything is going to “lock” an adapter in place, but you could use one of these reducers if you are set on trying a 14mm male adapter with a screen: https://www.greekglassshop.com/product/size-adapter

    The Toad from Morwood

Oh, I missed the most recent batch. Some real stunners in there--I really love the retro-futurist aesthetic of several of the toads with katagana written on them. I'm surprised by the three that ended up being raffled, as they were my favorites. The persimmon tree and lichen on magical stone...

    Brilliant Cut Grinder

Had to take advantage of the sale to get the medium and coarse plates. I imagine like a lot of people I'll end up using one 95% of the time, but GFL knocked it out of the park with this grinder: happy to throw some support their way and have the option to experiment with coarser grinds. I...

@Frosch5 I've never tried that either, I would also just pack less in an 18mm basket screen. Its not going to hurt anything if you want to try it, you just might run at very different temps than a lot of us. @games-loaves0t I don't think there's really any "pro" vapers . But especially...

Any recommendations for a good 4 slot 18650 battery charger?

Do you have a source for this? I’m just curious. I found some thread from mooch that claims they are one of a handful of official distributors for molicel. I don’t really know the history of all of this save that mooch has tested many batteries. It’s just odd that a single anonymous person on...

@Squidge Huh. If Fogstar is a known-good supplier maybe they have different wraps for the uk.

Any recommendations for a good 4 slot 18650 battery charger?

I don’t have this recycling bin logo on my p26a or p28a. Mine all match the product photo from 18650 battery store. Seems they should match no? Do battery factories have region-specific wraps?

Any recommendations for a good 4 slot 18650 battery charger?

Maybe the wraps in the uk are very different. In the us they look nothing like that, at least none of the batteries I have from 18650 battery store. I only ask as usually the wrap is a potential way to spot fake batteries. Edit: https://www.18650batterystore.com/products/molicel-p26a is what...

@Md_Hybrid out of curiosity where are you located and where did you get those molicels? The wraps look very, very different from mine.

What should my next glass purchase be?

I think @Shit Snacks addressed it already, but ogb hooks are decidedly not thin, and have built in mechanisms to catch any debris that makes it through your screen. If you just dig water, though, I can’t fault you for that. A good dry solution just preserves much more flavor if that is a priority.
