Whatever you do make sure you do not put more pressure than a standard stem would on the heater screen and female glass joint. I do not think those things would be covered under warranty. I am not sure on the specifics though but I think only US standard 18mm joints are recommended.

Milaana has been cutting out around 3.7v.

The copper is removeable in the current configuration using the thumb screw. Best bet for batteries is to purchase the brand verified or recommended by RBT.
