There is no automatic desktop IH afaik. If you specifically buy it for the Tempest then I highly recommend the wand instead of anything else, even for home use only. No it won’t because of how it calculates the power output. There will be a new version of it if all goes well, hopefully around...

It's still uncalibrated though, check how far it goes with the wand. Yes, it heats for a very short moment every second or so, like it would try to keep it at temp.

With the zirc set it to 320C and let it run until the time out message or set it to 400C and take it out when it stops blinking, that is around 35s It should be working if I remember correctly

The wand is hands free with a "timer", cheaper and easier to replace the battery. For the Tempest I wouldn't recommend the VHB. The VHB will be quicker with a DV. Yes, I have the settings for the different balls etc

It works, it's the glass that's 14mm (13.75mm to be exact).

12mm at the induction part, 13.25mm above it. I’d recommend a 14mm ID glass

It won't work unfortunately. It's possible that there will be another version for the Tempest and Anvil. The VHB 3D with the bigger glass also works great, but it's not very convenient to hold the button for 30 seconds.

I haven’t received the colored ones yet, just a few faulty black ones.

I received the new parts and kits this week, but the visual indicator still doesn’t function correctly. We need to get custom bimetal sheets for the indicators once again, which will take approximately a month to make. I have high hopes for the next version and am confident it will be the one...

Not yet, I hope to finalise it by the end of next week. There will be a screwable CCD-like screen which holds them in place - it's also not ready yet

The new glass sleeves are not ready yet

The glass is boro instead of quartz and 1mm wider in diameter. The wood is slightly wider as well and has some vertical lines like the Revolve/Ti Tempest + new wood options

About 7-10 It's planned, but only of the head (tip+cap) for a limited time.

The sleeve is for induction compatibility and airflow control, it goes on the end of the cap. The rectangle pieces are the leather case tags in matching color. Light - metallic blue and dark blue on the 1st pic

The distance definitely matters, but it should be further away from the bowl to get the desired effect (however the lag will be bigger). The normal snap disc in these devices click at a much lower temp than what you'd expect. It's not easy to delay the click long enough in this shape and size...

We have to wait for new snap disc moulds to be able to continue testing. It takes a couple weeks and there is a long holiday coming next week so I don't expect much in the following 2-3 weeks. :( I'll get a couple final models without snap discs and hopefully good visual gauges next week and...

It doesn't work yet unfortunately, it won't start heating. They'll update the FW this week if all goes well so that it can work.
