Search back some pages. The Nibbler X was rigged up with an extra o-ring and someone got it working perfect! I tried with the Nibbler XL and some rubber bands but couldn't quit get it sealed. @THC SCIENTIFIC promises all us hungry hippos a new Nibbler special made for the AC soon!

For me the 7.4v white rod will glow red pretty quick. Checking the resistance after any reassembly is definitely the way to go though. Invest in a multimeter or the easy Ohm reader off w9tech com. It will save you a lot of headache in the future!
