The auto-shut off interval can be configured and bypassed completely. I set mine to 12 hours. I do like the D-Nail PID as it has two switches. One to read the temp and the other for heat so you can turn the heat off. The Auber continues reading while the coil cools so there is a similar...

It’s the easiest to adjust the temp and has really good performance. Plus Auber stands behind their products. It’s my preferred pid.

Exactly. The most intense hits come after the heater has turned off. The tip of the weed gets very black but the rest is nicely roasted. I still use the default 15 seconds but I will try reducing it to compare. Really nice hits.

Are you sure you didn't confuse the ZXL bundle for $250 with the ZX bundle for $300. I think the ZX bundle has stayed the same price. They are different as the ZX bundle has the coil installed.
