u bwade - That sounds very bad. So sorry. Reminds me of the time I awoke to a raining dining room ceiling from a failed plumbing connection. Luckily, it is just water and will find its way into the air again. A good chance for some remodeling. BDV - That Rez Block looks very interesting. May...

That is one mean look Jeppy. I'm surprised it didn't shatter. Glad you found your other tube. Sorry for the cracked one. Glass has some rules that must be followed when making the tubes. I don't think it is happy when they are not followed. It has been interesting learning rules of wood, glass...

BDV - Sad to hear of the accident. I have a few made up and can get a replacement out to you. I have had them hit the floor and not break before. It is all a chance in how they hit. Must have been its time. u bwade wunner - The outer sleeve is mechanically connected to the washer in the same...

    The Amazing Vapor Lung!!!

I use a 1/4" dowel to swab the inside of the bag and bottle with everclear and a cotton ball to clean and reclaim. Watch out for the first breath to pull the bag back in. The alcohol vapor is very strong. I never exhale into the bag so it only contains vapor.

Thanks Vapinghole. Glad the world didn't end so we can all relax a bit (I wasn't worried). Looking forward to a great year. slowandsteady - Thanks for the offer. It will be a big help. Some of these wood boxes are very heavy.

    Looking for an idiot-proof vape...

I agree with the bag being the most idiot proof system. So nice to know exactly how much vapor you are inhaling and the flavor is great. That is the beauty of the Vapor Lung. Plus it can be made to work with any vaporizer and the price is right. Just make up several for a party and have less...

    Underdog Log Vapes

That was my very first all glass roasting tube Gonzo. It was made from 13mm glass tubing and I hadn't figured out how to flame polish the inside of the bowl yet. There were a real pain in the ass to make since it took so long to bore the 10mm hole and broke if I went too fast. I am now using...

    The HI

Good to see you here again. Sorry to hear of your situation. Hopefully, it will change someday. I have not had much experience with ejuice. I do frequently use the cotton from cleaning my glass stems in either a silicone or glass roasting tube. As long as the airflow is good, there should be no...

Thanks for posting the video BDV. I am still amazed how fast it turns the glass white. There is very little water to lift with that piece of glass. I can imagine how low of drag it must have. Hope I can get a nice glass collection some day. Would really like to try a fritted disc some day.

    E-Nano from Epickai

The core looks to be very similar to that of the HI. The air inlet holes in the lower part of the center tube are the key to the design. They physically restrict the amount of heat that can get transferred away from the center tube so therefore more heat is available to heat the air. That is how...

bOObs - Good to see you again. Sorry to hear about the t-break. I am taking a t-break too but only because there is nothing available here. Looking forward to Colorado. OTA - I haven't been turning wood since it is all packed up in boxes and I need to keep the shop very clean for when the...

    The HI

Happy holidays everyone. Here is a short video of my latest batch of HI cores. Wanted to show how they ring like bells. I'm able to do some work in my shop without making a huge mess to clean up. I will probably wait until after the move to turn wood. Also making up a batch of heating...

    The Toasty Top

I can make a WonG with a stainless steel roasting tip that will work in both the TT and HI. Here is a photo of an 18mm one I made with a glass roasting tip for the HI.

    The HI

I have never sold any spare cores because they are the most rugged and durable part of the unit. The only cores I have sent out were for replacing the few units that had the two piece core. You should never need a new core for your HI. The core should be good for a few thousand years. Very easy...

    The HI

You are welcome. Glad you were able to install the new core yourself. So nice that the design allows that level of serviceability. Good that there are only a handful of the old cores out there yet to be changed. They are covered under the warranty.

    The Toasty Top

There are a few options for GonG stems. A 14mm GonG fitting will accept a thread-on SS roasting tip using a silicone sleeve. An all glass roasting tube (14mm GonG) will accept a slide-in or dimple style SS roasting tip using a silicone sleeve. The slide-in or dimple style tips will have better...

    The Toasty Top

You are welcome Ace.357. They do make wonderful hand warmers. The shape feels so good in your hands. Vito - Glad your hands are staying warm too. The new core improves air flow and heat up time but it doesn't get the wood quite as warm to the touch so it is not quite as good of a hand warmer...
