As many have indicated, you really can’t go wrong with either. If I had to pick a better overall device, it might be the fw7. But purely for its increased portability factor. In terms of pure vapor quality I would give it to the TB. I’m a convection fan. In terms of hash, the TB has sidelined...

I totally agree with you on the machined stem. SS bowl aluminum stem seems like best of both worlds. My concerns came from the fact that the ceramic bowls have “eroded” the coating in the hot zone of my stem. Leaving an ever increasing area of exposed heated aluminum. To each their own, but...

I agree. I think this is how the stem should have been designed originally, or a more durable coating should have been employed. I have a machined stubby on the way.

SS far superior. Aluminum is linked to a lot of cognitive issues.

Does anyone know if stem chipping(around the bowl, in the oven) is covered by warranty?
