    Anvil by Vestratto

Agreed, I've become a Ronx torch maven largely because I think a lot of the early struggles folks have with the Anvil start from waiting too long while a dinky Blazer flame takes almost a minute to click at the copper battery. The longer, stronger Ronx flame is a better partner for the Anvil: it...

    Anvil by Vestratto

Can you just try another Ronx? I have to have mine adjusted a third to half up for it to light but it still has a huge flame range from 1/2" to 2" or more. My first one was unreliable (sputtering and not lighting on the first try) but I was using cheap butane and overfilling it. Nowadays I use...

    Atlas by Cloud Connoisseur (iDB)

@Shit Snacks also hooked me up with one of his flawed Dhgate j-hooks and it works a treat with the Atlas. Great draw, excellent flavor, and too easy to just put the bowl on a bubbler whenever you like

Glad you're getting consistent, good results. Do you not have a Ronx yet? First click should be enough if you're not languishing with a single flame that's too short to click on the battery in 25 seconds or less

First dry herb vape for 300 USD?

You can vape cbd in the vapcap. The Rogue is a session vape with a slow weak heater and a good bit of conduction so you'll wait thirty seconds for it to warm up and then it's cooking the bowl for however many minutes it's on. Session vapes make me feel rushed for that reason although it matters...

First dry herb vape for 300 USD?

forsooth! Sensible counterpoint otherwise. Especially with that budget I just hate seeing folks end up with all those vapcap quirks (e.g. draw resistance, reheating every hit, lighters/IHs, no real temp control, etc.) right out of the gate when they can have better vapor quality literally at...

First dry herb vape for 300 USD?

I added to my vapcap critique in that last post just FYI. Yeah, it happens a lot. Skip the wand at least. This twelve dollar mantello torch is what I'd use most if I didn't have fancy, scarce induction heaters aplenty: Mantello Cigars Torch Lighter https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M6C8F34/ This...

First dry herb vape for 300 USD?

Naw, fuck a vapcap for your use case and budget. It's tricky in these "which vape" threads because vapcaps are inexpensive and widely owned with a great reputation so you'll generally get a lot more "I have that vape and like it" encouragement. Vapcaps score low for flavor, require separate...

    Atlas by Cloud Connoisseur (iDB)

Gotcha, yeah I don't fuck with glass honeycomb screens at all anymore. I think the wooden bowl from CC takes a 5/8" screen

    Atlas by Cloud Connoisseur (iDB)

Spills? I only have the wooden Atlas bowl and it just has a normal screen iDB included. Where would an additional screen go? Nothing makes it through the screen if that's what you were asking about

@pxl_jockey I recommend the wooden bowl 👌 CIVILIZED

Are you using fancy refined butane? How long is the single flame from your Ronx? I did return the first one I got but it was when I was using cheap Zippo butane and I've had great results since I stopped using that stuff. With the little adjuster I can make the single flame huge on the Ronx...

    The J-hook thread!

I do love those fancy OGB hooks but just got one of the cheap Dhgate ones and I'm super impressed. You won't be substantially missing out. I've used it with the TM, Atlas and Z now and it's great. Big dad's pipe vibes with the wooden Atlas bowl. Pleased with the cooling and I like that despite...

    AirVape Legacy Pro

I read it called a pre-order in the unreleased thread. Heck yeah, for that price I'd absolutely buy one. $269 not so much. If it's not a preorder then I'll allow myself some fomo that you got the friends and family price

    Anvil by Vestratto

I'm new to this level of torch devotion. That said, I've observed that the Ronx takes longer to click as it's getting low on butane. It's as if the single flame can convince you it's the same size as when it had more fuel but really it's not as muscly and not heating as fast as it was

    AirVape Legacy Pro

Yeah it looked like fatter, more expensive Firefly design to me with that goofy lid How much did you guys pay for the pre-order?

    Anvil by Vestratto

I don't have much interest in 3rd party stems for the Anvil. I mean I suppose the upside is that there's zero chance a third party will rival the brutal shipping costs from Vestratto but I never took to the Lego mix and match that some folks enjoy with vapcap stems. And I'm maybe missing...

XMAX V3 Pro or HR Rogue? (Non artisan suggestions)

In that case get the V3 Pro. At least it's on demand and as long as the battery is nearly full it'll get the job done with better flavor and fewer hits to fully extract than session vapes like the Rogue.

    LAST vape NEXT vape

Which people are saying what exactly? Seems a bit sus to be comparing anything from AirVape to the TM if nobody has seen or used one in the wild. Is there a thread for the Pro here yet? I hope we're not just talking about YouTube shills. The $270us price does make it seem like they have high...
