Yep, I noticed a huge difference that allowed me to get much higher on much less. The SiC is a lot more conductive and vaporizes the oil far more efficiently and the flavor doesn't get bad if you have to hit it multiple times.

The sticker on my Ion II is holding up well with normal manual cleanings with water, alcohol, and PBW. It still looks like new more or less. It doesn't ever get soaked in anything although I'm not careful about scrubbing it when I clean the outside.

I agree. I dab pretty small and directional airflow doesn't really seem to make a significant difference. I'm sure it helps with bigger pools, though.
