I disassemble and soak in hot iso for a few minutes. Then I rinse in hot water, using q-tips to scrub the insides of the tubes, the bucket and the Storm Cell cap. I do this twice a week and it keeps everything quite clean. I keep a jar of iso that I re-use for a while. Seems an effective routine...
You can do this to clean your insert if you like. The heat isn't always necessary. I rarely use it. When I was using the SiC full-time I soaked it in iso with the Liger parts before cleaning and then scrubbed it with water and q-tips, sometimes something more abrasive like a fine steel wool if...
I think my experience roughly matches what you have described here but with a big margin for error since I'm estimating everything from size of the dab (my typical dab is approx. .02g - .04g) to the count on the pull. I recently dropped my temp again from 580 or 590 where you have it now back...
I think the issue is going to be due to the coil needing tightening and a carb cap only needing one hole open.
The Liger is efficient but there's no reason it can't milk a piece like other nails. You can hit if fast or slow. if you prepare a small dab you can kill it at a low temp.
My point...
I have tried it and it seems worthwhile. I've been dabbing it once or twice a day and it's helpful with unwinding at the end of a day. The first time was pretty dramatic (my early experiences with CBD isolate were also much stronger - perhaps this means I'm using too much in a single dose and...
Nobody suggested that nobody needs these carb caps or that it isn't important information, but simply that the subject had grown enough to warrant its own thread which would not be hard to find. Organization would benefit people looking for info on either, wouldn't it? This argument is very...
I just got some of this stuff:
https://www.phytodabs.com/collections/full-spectrum-crumble-and-slabs/products/full-spectrum-slabs-with-strain-specific-terpenes-grape-ape?variant=42474769166
I decided to try this hoping I would benefit from the other cannabinoids and terpenes. I've had the...
Yep, I noticed a huge difference that allowed me to get much higher on much less. The SiC is a lot more conductive and vaporizes the oil far more efficiently and the flavor doesn't get bad if you have to hit it multiple times.
This isn't really very complicated. We have a good product but a company that has had consistent problems delivering it. Some people are very understanding while some expect a certain standard that hasn't been met. Both points of view are legitimate.
I don't think there's much danger of getting any SiC particulates through water.
The insert may get stuck if its more like a disc now that lets the oil run off the sides.
It might help with that.
I don't know for sure as my tolerance is fairly high and I'm usually dabbing in the morning to get ready rather than trying to moderate residual highs.
I have found it's good for a certain kind of head tension that feels like anxiety or irritation. It's a little...
The sticker on my Ion II is holding up well with normal manual cleanings with water, alcohol, and PBW. It still looks like new more or less. It doesn't ever get soaked in anything although I'm not careful about scrubbing it when I clean the outside.
Wonderful piece there. It's definitely not a clone. I'm trying not to buy any more glass for the next year or so but I would grab this in a heartbeat otherwise. I also like the RDS a lot. I use my Ion II constantly.
I was talking about the Ti parts and I mentioned soaking in iso before q-tipping. I dab fairly light compared to others, however, so twice a week with my method is adequate while I can see how a lot more input would change this.
Also, someone else has mentioned this but you can get the inserts...
I recommend submerging the Liger parts in iso for a soak. I heat the alcohol up as well but haven't tested if that is making a big difference. After a short soak of ten minutes or so at least I rinse in hot water and use q-tips. I do this twice a week and haven't had any kind of problems. Stuff...
I'm digging the new 3.0 and the new Storm Cell. It's a bit easier to seat and spin with the deeper tracks. If they were a bit longer in order to dab with I'd have no complaints.
I like Moxie a lot. Way expensive, but good when it is affordable.
Recently I've had Goji OG (very fresh and sweet), Strawberry Fields (wonderful and subtle authentic-tasting strawberry flavor), and am working on some Grape Reserve right now. This latter one is interesting. I do get a vaguely...
Yeah, good points, guys. There's room for improvement on the Storm Cell. I'm so used to not using them as dabbers now that I forgot about that consideration completely. They do need to be longer. Many probably would prefer them to fit like they do on the 30mm as well, maybe with a simplified (or...
I think the caps are getting a bit of a bad name. Everyone has their preferences and opinions but when it comes to function I think the Storm Cells are great. The Hurricane didn't live up to what was hoped for when it was designed but the Storm Cell is solid. Having all those airflow options may...
