This is the issue with the stock stems, not mating perfectly. Try rotating each stem while inhaling and wiggling the stem. On each of my stems this has helped me find their sweet spots. In the end I got the TNT stem and don't have any complaints.

Just did a session with Eds stem on a small dry recycler I typically use for dabs. Absolutely delicious and I am feeling grand. The XL is one I will never part with. It's been on 24/7 for months now with absolutely no issues.
