Quoted for truth. It's such an amazing experience upgrade, even native. TBH I have always held a dim view of parts of vapes that cannot be cleaned, especially in the vapor path. The stock mp with that flip out thing is a total nightmare that belongs in the trash.

Is it really this good? I mean I'm quite happy with my pax 2 with the half pack lid, so maybe I don't need it. Not sure if its $50 better than stock. Seems fiddly. Moreover, is it better than the knockoffs that are 1/5 the price?

This is of course the safe answer to get great results from a PAX. I'm going to try @thx1138 suggestions with the bud cups. Mine don't fall right out and instead get stuck, but I'm curious to see them work. My current results are about like yours, bad flavor, few hits.

When I got mine a couple years back or so, I just ordered the amazed SS from the UK. Shipping wasn't so bad. Was like 55 USD all in. For an SS item with that much milling and machining, that's still very cheap. Finding anything like it stateside was an exercise in frustration.

These two things are all you need with the half pack, at least. Easy to take a few puffs and put away for next time. If you do the cool down puff it doesn't keep cooking and the flavor is ok for next time.

That's the thing, I exclusively use caps. I need to be able to tip them out without the tube coming with it. Especially when it's usually extremely hot!

Me too, friend! I don't mind the stock MP much, but a Ceramic WPA like the one for the aria/starry would be ideal. If it can make the starry a decadent vape to use, just imagine what it would do for the roffu!
