    Discontinued The Grasshopper

So per my post above, I got my repaired Hopper, and it works very nicely. Aside from expected performance, it seems like they made yet another change (I also have a "new" one received March) to the backend. It's WAY smoother and turns like glass, even with the battery in it.

Thanks, Vapviking! Last week I'd gotten an email from "Drew" (don't know what happened to Olivia) saying he expected to get to my December RMA within "5 to 15 days". The very next day I got the ship notice. Expecting it today. Squeaky wheels.

Gree-Tings.... So I sent my RMA in at Christmas, and I just got my ship notice yesterday. This came after a second email to prompt a reply from a warranty message I'd left a week prior. Also, (and maybe this has been stated since I've been offline), Olivia is apparently now a dude named...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

Wow, I go away for a month and am so dismayed to see HL still screwing the pooch with communications and... well, why am I surprised? I have the new Ti for about 2+ months, and it works at times too well (combustion at T4+). But with water it's just fine. Just not what I'd hoped it would be...

LOL! ...and that could very well be, Vap!

Everything they ever say sounds like it's coming out of a fucking robot spokesperson programmed with OEM crapspeak. Corporate pablum. Like they're talking to disdainful investors who obviously have no technical aptitude. What he said.

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

Ha! I'd love to think this is the case... but then this: That just boggles my friggin mind. I've never had this experience... I've had two years now with 4 hoppers in my possession (some temporarily), and even thin clouds at T2 has never occurred. @Cheesequake , do you find big difference...

Thanks, Baron! Do you also find variances with different strains? It seems that even with "known good" strains, variances from one bud to another exist - judging from the standpoint of Hopper output.

And here I thought I was cool when I wore out "plethora". The dial... yes... why have the dial if T1-3 is useless. There've been some on here that seem to have a finer pallet with terpene appreciation... But other than that, is there anyone who "gets clouds" at T3??

Sure, @manujoe , I get that. Why not? It's almost what makes it a beast in the first place... that it can.

See, that's just the thing, I'm almost never even able to incinerate my herb. Unless I'm really trying to by leaving a used load in longer than I normally do, there's no way I'm turning anything into cinders (aka incinerate). Not that I want to, of course... And I use quality various material...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

@vapviking yeah, I had gotten used to doing the same thing, except I would click-off and then click back on. It seemed to work better than "pausing" between the primer and final hits. Overall, I'm fairly certain that there is not much of any improvement to performance. That's not to say it is...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

So, I've gone through 2 chambers on the new Ti. This time, different herb. Similar, although I have stepped up my start Temp to T3.75. Wimpy clouds, but by T4.5, it's a good production. And I don't have to do the double-click. Honestly don't know that any of this is helpful. But I will...

Nope, no green anything. Funny, my two Ti's even through multiple RMA's, have always just clicked during the heat-up time. NEVER during blue. Ever. I would say the draw is anywhere from 9-12 seconds. So far (and I'm only testing one hopper at a time), I am not finding any difference in...

Totally interesting to me... and much appreciated! To make these choices of will, as opposed to necessity... just wow! EDIT: TOUCHDOWN! So this happened today! First of all, I'm totally surprised because I would have thought Olivia would've sent an actual "Your Grasshopper has...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

Well, regarding the "optimistic" email I got from Olivia last week ( http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/the-grasshopper.18482/page-798#post-1230060 )... ..... I never got a shipping notice, so I'm assuming she never shipped my purchase. It just seems so weird that there is only one person I'm...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

I don't experience any combustion, but, for the longest time now, I routinely have to consider my first draw a "primer" draw because it's generally a weak hit. I click off for a second, and click back on... then i can rip it. But T5 is the only temperature that I can get a satisfying result...

So I got nothing good to say. So new customers come before Warranty services I suppose. Sent mine in mid-December. And, asking about He order for 2 Ti’s I placed during the coupon offer: Hi Joe, My apologies, your order is still in queue to ship. With our variable production batch sizes...

I cannot log in either. @Jayd0g420 you can log in? No one else can, but you can? Read that reddit thread. :uhh: Disconcerting. I'd like to believe in @Jayd0g420 . I'd like to believe... Much as I love coming here to hopefully find good news about the status of HL, I know I'm equally...
