    Vaping frequency

I’ve always used about 0.1g or less per day, only occasionally a little more. My tolerance was lowest when I only used it once a day, and with that a pretty small amount (usually combined with a 10mg or less edible) would have a pretty dramatic effect. Now I tend to use similar amounts but...

What's a worthy replacement for the vapexhale evo?

Those Grav stems get mentioned a lot because they fit and they do provide some cooling. A lot of people seem to say that they’re not as good at cooling as other solutions though. Just using a straight stem with some glass balls between two screens should do a better job I think.

    The Toad from Morwood

Welcome to the wait! I know it can be hard, but the bonus you get for it is that Dan keeps getting better as an artist and finding new refinements that make each batch even better than the last. :) I wouldn’t worry about burning the house down unless you plan to do something crazy with it like...

Looking for least smelly vape under $200 for at-home use in complex with no-marijuana policy

Personally my favorite portable designs are the Nomad and Toad, but they are not at all quick and easy to get, they’re a little more expensive, and they are unregulated so when you hold the button it just heats continuously and you have to get the heat level right by adjusting the time you hold...

Looking for least smelly vape under $200 for at-home use in complex with no-marijuana policy

That’s disturbing to hear as since you’ve been inhaling it, but I’m glad the V3 Pro may not taste as bad as you thought. That said, I only use vaporizers with heaters and air/vapor paths made of metal, glass or ceramic. Oh, and I have a couple of wooden stems on the way. If there is anything...

FC Posts Taken Out Of Context Thread

I got that, I was just wondering why he was lucky his crotch hurt…but maybe not the best out of context quote.

Does "popcorn smell/taste" indicate full extraction?

Yeah, losing the stickiness is a better indicator to me. Not all vaporizers/temp settings/etc. produce that flavor and some will do it even before the load is completely done. If I try to dump it and some holds onto the bowl though, I can still get some extra vapor out of that before it stops...

    The Nomad From Morwood

Not to stir up the heating element discussion again, but I wanted to add that under normal circumstances the Nomad/Toad heaters should not be glowing much if at all. They’re made from Nichrome ribbon which has a lot more mass. E-cig coils are made from thin wire, and at least dry firing would...

Vapottery - custom Vaporizer/Art editions and classics (New Model)

Great stuff! I like the different look and herb chambers that are much easier to replace. :) Do you have a video that shows more detail and how you use it? If not, I have a few questions: What is the heater like? Similar to the Vapbong’s heater? Is it easy to get the herb chamber out or is...

Musk is a ridiculous salesman who seriously over-promises for sure. If his projects manage to get people to Mars soon, they will face a lot of problems and probably short lives that make people question for many years whether or not we should even try to colonize Mars at all. I was only...

High temp vs low temp. Health concerns over the long term.

I agree they’re not the best for low temp use, but have you tried a low temp cap? They click earlier and should make it harder for you to accidentally overcook a bowl.

It’s unlikely that we’ll have a viable colony on Mars soon, but 150 years ago the idea of people flying or going to the moon probably seemed just as crazy. Maybe it’ll take another 50 or 150 years, or maybe even thousands of years or more of terraforming before it is really habitable, but...

    Volcano Hybrid VS Flowerpot VROD

Oh well…a FlowerPot’s great, but a wife’s better. If I were in your position I’d still start another thread with a list of the things you need in a vaporizer and get some more recommendations, but if you don’t want to go down more rabbit holes the Volcano Hybrid is a pretty capable device. :)

Highest temp you use with for flower.

The burnt popcorn taste doesn’t indicate combustion (unless it’s just tiny bits of charring), just that you’re really cooking the flower and it doesn’t have much other taste left to give. You won’t get that taste with all vaporizers or at all temps, but it’s generally a good indication you...

    Volcano Hybrid VS Flowerpot VROD

The FP can be condensed down pretty small for storage (apart from your glass), and because the head and the post it sits on (assuming you use one of their stands) are very hot you do have to be careful with them. It’s like having a tiny stove burner going or something. You don’t want to let...

    What constitutes a microdose?

@endof3d If you’re talking about using a small amount many times every day, I agree. If I use a small amount (or even a large amount) once a day though, that doesn’t raise my tolerance. I used a similar dose once every night for years with similar effects each time.

How many bucks you'll spend on your first vaporizer battery?

I think most of the good 510s for cartridges are in the $20-$60 range…I haven’t found one that I don’t have complaints about yet, but the most important thing to me is being able to use low voltage. Adjustable voltage is good to have too, but I’m just using the 1.8v “pre-heat” option on the...
