The part that you seem to be missing is that it doesn't matter what the difference is, they don't offer that. If you bought the hopper, then the warranty goes to you. If you subsequently sell the hopper, you are selling it without warranty and to claim otherwise to someone purchasing it from you...

Might be a silly question, but based on what you wrote it feels worth asking: Are you still using the same pad this whole time? Have you tried a new pad, or soaked the one you use in iso? Could just be the pad is gunked up.

I have made a sandwich a couple of times, put a little herb in bowl, put kief on top of that, put more herb on top of that and tamp down slightly. Seems to work ok. Certainly didn't get a mouth full of kief anyway.
