    Sticky Brick Labs Vaporizer

Hi everyone. I have now read this entire thread. :D I was honestly on the verge of getting a vapcap (a Ti Woody most likely) as I have become interested in butane vapes, but then realized that I am already good on quick, one hitter style vapes since I have a Grasshopper and a Firefly2 (and a...

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

Cool, and I may have been reading too much into your post, or just the wordings that came across (to me anyway) as 'you should' rather than 'I prefer to'. I am totally down with us doing things differently. Clean as often as you want to, I just don't want to as much. I wonder if the Space Case...

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

I disagree. I find that it works fine to take a hit here and there, and that it still tastes great regardless. One of the key advantages of the FF2 is the on-demand nature of it. Also, all vaporizers tend to work best when clean, but the FF2 can get quite sticky and messy inside before I notice...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

Have you emailed back and forth with them before? Have you checked that there aren't emails getting caught by a spam filter or similar? I haven't had to email them for a while now, thankfully, but I always have gotten quick replies when I did.

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

That sounds a lot like what I am talking about in my post a couple days ago, except I have been taking the backend all the way off and putting it back on. I will have to try what you are saying the next time I experience that behavior.

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

I don't think the mouthpiece threading has anything to do with the circuit, only the backend threading. I am pretty sure you could use the hopper without the mouthpiece (or rather with something else as a mouthpiece unless you want a mouth full of weed haha). I have noticed that my backend (my...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

Have you tried rotating the button (the actual pen like clicker part) a quarter turn or so? That seems to alleviate the hot backend issue for some hoppers. My hopper has had two warranty issues, one they sent me a new body and the other they had me send it all back and then they replaced the...

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

I used to do this with the original Firefly, and really felt like I had to just to keep the difficult to clean lid from getting as gunked up as fast. I am thankful that the FF2 (for me at least) does not feel like it needs this. I hardly get any debris in the mouthpiece (well, even less lately...

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

The gap is very narrow, just big enough to allow airflow. Some tiny bits will get stuck to the glass top in that space as you use it, but in my experience none from just carrying it around. Huge advantage over the old design is that cleaning it is so easy. The FF1 was a total pain to clean...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

Absolutely do not store hopper or any other lithium batteries in a car, particularly if it is hot and sunny outside. It can get hot enough in a car with the windows rolled up to not only damage a battery, but possibly to cause it it vent. I saw this pic posted on reddit, guy left his ecig...

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

Others have already replied to this a bit, but I wanted to add one thing that I have noticed (and I think I said this way back in the thread somewhere too, but anyway.) When I first noticed this it seemed intermittent, but then I realized that sometimes when I go to use it my fingers touch the...

Ethics, Karma and Grasshopper Warranty Discussion

The part that you seem to be missing is that it doesn't matter what the difference is, they don't offer that. If you bought the hopper, then the warranty goes to you. If you subsequently sell the hopper, you are selling it without warranty and to claim otherwise to someone purchasing it from you...

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

Might be a silly question, but based on what you wrote it feels worth asking: Are you still using the same pad this whole time? Have you tried a new pad, or soaked the one you use in iso? Could just be the pad is gunked up.

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

I have made a sandwich a couple of times, put a little herb in bowl, put kief on top of that, put more herb on top of that and tamp down slightly. Seems to work ok. Certainly didn't get a mouth full of kief anyway.

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

Sorry, I was just editing my post (before you replied) as I am pretty high and realized too late that I was being an ass. My most humble apologies. I disagree with some of your points, but I did not mean to be unfriendly.

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

Hahahaha, pull the other one it has bells on. You have got to be freaking kidding. Use what you want, but if you think the MFLB tastes better than the FF2 (or the FF1, or just about any other vape) then you must get some really good stuff because that is crazy talk, in my opinion. It isn't even...

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

I don't agree with you on the steep curve thing. Admittedly I have used a number of vapes before I got my FF2, including the FF1, but I had zero issues figuring it out. To me it was totally straightforward and worked exactly as I expected. Dead simple. Nothing at all like the MFLB which was an...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

Having had to do 2 warranty claims myself I can relate. It works so well when it is working that it really sucks when it does not. How many batteries do you have? I have 4 and use a Nitecore D2 to charge them 2 at a time and just swap them out as needed. I have never used the charger that came...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

Do you mean just this last Friday, like the 20th? That means you are into only the 2nd working day since you filed a ticket. Impatient much? i have had two warranty repairs since I've had my hopper (rec'd in early Dec 2015) and both have been very satisfactory as far as time goes. First one...

I knew that I had read this somewhere, but amusingly it never occurred to me that it was in the freaking manual.
