That's my thoughts exactly. Hence why I prefer to use the term "Vaporizer" to refer to herbal vapes. As a method of distinguishing between the two. Although I'm fairly certain it's just me :lol: :sherlock:

I ask because I don't think so. To me a Vape is like an e-cigarette - something used with liquids or concentrates. A Vaporizer is something mainly used exclusively with dry herbs. Naturally mainstream media uses them interchangeably, but at the technical level I wanted to see what everyone else...

The ticking is normal - that's the sound of power pulsing through the heater (the heater doesn't remain on 100% of the time - it only clicks on when needed to bump up the temperature to desired setting)
