I find the wand to work great with the Anvil.....its a trip to play around with...the Thermocore oven with the wand has given me what I missed using the Anvil...a longer session! It really works well. I have not timed how many heat ups I get on a set of batteries but I am going thru 3 sets of...

I cant imagine not using the integrated stem...it is a big improvement...I believe it is stock on new Anvils....3 months ago I orederd a WPA and a USA and have yet to use them...I am that comfy with the stem as a WPA. I do wish Vestratto would come out with more stem designs...maybe a etched XL...

I have xtra condensers...I swap when dirty once then clean whole unit once the second one is dirty I have been using the Wand quite a bit...also trying to dial in the cold bowl method described by @Roffa and @Whiff here. It works well in my opinion...I also dont really try to RTL...I am a arm...

The VHB 3D has an exposed coil....been considering it myself for the Anvil...

Still playing around with your method with both torch and wand....still dialing the wand in but pre-heating works well...

Reason I asked I remember a workup of a screen removal tool made from plastic...looked like it worked like a toggle bolt...pop thru the slot in middle and plastic wings that pop open... If Vestratto is offering a new screen kit as Whiff said..maybe there will be a tool...in meantime I will look...

TY...so you remove the screen from the condenser with a dentist tool? Do you have a pic or link to that tool? I guess you are using the small slot in the middle of the screen.... I have drill bits I use to push screen out presently...

I played around with it...it does help....I sometimes warm up a ice cold DV before using...

Yea I read that...not sure I would try that but for sure the condenser and screen cleaning ritual has been a bitch for me....wish that Vestratto had come out with the screen removal tool that they first claimed they would...my guess they could not come up with a suitable design...and you can't...

Does anybody know if the SKCreations V2 insert works for the new oven? How are you heating with the wand?
