The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

the mighty is known for its easy draw, but if you're new to vaporizers, don't expect bong-hit sized tokes. I can easily get huge clouds at med. and higher temperatures, but still have to take draws that are >5 sec. my guesstimate is that 1 bong hit = 3-4 tokes on a vaporizer. there are...

    Vaporizer Purchase Question

I'm a big fan of the mighty. temperature control to individual degrees. bong adapters available if you want water filtration. portable. at the moment you can get the older version for ~$270 since they just introduced a new model. one of the more well-known online vape reviewers (troy @ 420 vape...

dosing capsules are little perforated aluminum cans that fit inside the bowl. people like them b/c you can pre-load them, carry a bunch around (you can even buy little carriers). to use the WPA you remove the cooling unit entirely - the WPA attaches directly to the top of the bowl. I don't use...

The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

I've had a mighty for 7+ years, have read about lots of vapes that have come out since (and used a few). as far as I can tell, if you're ok with a session vape, the answer is no. 'on demand' isn't the mighty's strong suit; if that's important to you, all-convection has gotten a lot better in...

Concentrate high vs dry herb vape high

interesting article - apparently people don't actually get higher from higher potency cannabis, possibly because of the finite number of cannabinoid receptors. this actually confirms my experience...

Searching a good portable Vape to purchase for concentrates/crystals

I have a linx, barely ever use it: short vapor path, hard to clean. I've never vaped CBD crystals, but vape wax (and similar concentrates) and different types of hash in my mighty all the time and am very happy with its performance. it's not the right vape for someone looking for huge rips like...

Concentrate high vs dry herb vape high

in this program on PBS https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/video/the-cannabis-question/ they say getting high temporarily lowers the # of the body's cannabinoid receptors - but that they eventually come back. given all the different cannabinoids in cannabis, maybe some strains have more or less of...

Looking to replace my "ancient" Volcano circa 2009, any suggestions?

you can get an original mighty for ~$270 now; I'm very happy with mine for both flower and concentrates (diff. types of hash, wax), been using it for almost 7 years (I've tried a few other vapes, but rarely end up using them). the only thing it doesn't do is liquid resin - too runny, might get...

Black Friday / Cyber Monday 2021 Sales

my guess would be that it's either the chip shortage or supply-chain issues (or both), i.e. will work itself out in time.

Concentrate high vs dry herb vape high

I'm kind of obsessive about strains, keep track of the effects every time I vape. a while back I was surprised to notice that the traits I liked in a favorite flower were even better in the wax version I picked up. I figured it was probably a fluke, but subsequent 'research' has borne it out...

The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

my mighty's 6 years old, hasn't failed yet, and I've vaped a fair amount of hash in it. I've never disassembled it, so I can't tell you what's down there.

The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

I've vaped bubble hash and regular hash in the mighty, but put it under the pad. regular (hard) hash needs to be cut into tiny pieces and (probably) vaped at the highest temperatures. it works great - it's really nice to be able to taste the hash.

you're going to get different answers to this - the debate about aluminum and health has been going on for years. someone here pointed out that vaporizers don't get anywhere near the temperature required to melt aluminum, and if you're brushing out and Q-tipping (alcohol) your bowl after use...

Wax Pen Vs. Mods - Differences?

the higher-priced stuff tends to have slightly higher THC, but not by much. as far as flavor goes, I haven't found the more expensive stuff to taste noticeably better. I avoid the dirt-cheap (e.g. $7/g) stuff that's pretty dark, but otherwise have been very impressed by the $10 stuff. I think...

Wax Pen Vs. Mods - Differences?

funny you should ask... I use my mighty with its 'liquid pad' for concentrates 99% of the time (I use a banger or wax pen very occasionally). I think it works great - and fits my needs perfectly: - no lung-busting rips - lots of flavor at low temps - since it takes ~15 hits to finish .04g, I...
