@Copacetic i found my capsules are pretty even as far as load baking. As you say have side air flow is a great improvement.

You can run in power mode. I don't have exact numbers but 15 to 34 watts should be a reasonable range. I have step by step instructions for firmware installation posted. If you need info on the firmware set up dm me. I do set ups for a small fee

Does IH allow for varying the power? I use mine at 40 watts and get consistent abv, 35 watts gives a lighter abv and 45 chars. I really like that feature
