Ok made mistakes, thank God, because they adhered to the wording of the question submitted for voter signatures and later for voter approval. The advocate-generated bill contained wording for minimal entry barriers and safety regulations. The Ok market got too big, by design, and is gradually...

Unfortunately level I growers in Ohio must cough up a $200,000 annual license renewal fee. Level II growers have to pay $20,000. In addition to high prices and limited selection, high application fees and other unnecessary fees/regulations restrict free market commerce and force profits into...

    Cannabis News

I'm thinking a high percentage of our "news" feed is really just high level marketing propaganda. News programs have to eek out a profit somehow, so they lure us in with actual news (pandemics, world wars, the rise of autocracy, etc) then tell us how to live by persuading us to eat pizza, take...

What's in your vape right now?

Sorry for re-posting a 6 month old pic. I'm re-amazed everytime I pull the Blue Dream outta the freezer. This pre-packaged example (from D-Luxe) purchased 4/20 ($42/oz) seems "fresh as a daisy" despite being left in the original ziplock package with a boveda packet. I keep coming back to the...

It's not a repair issue IMO, considering the cost of two way shipping, time to disassemble, the relatively low cost of the components, etc. However, it's still a good idea. I'll try take it apart and finger it out. 🤯

Something came loose inside my Bamboo HI a month ago. I could get it to work most of the time but it's toast now. 🥺 Alan indicated he would eventually make some more but I haven't heard from him in a month. Any suggestions for a simple, reliable alternative plug-in device? Thanks.

He are two better-than-average early live performance videos (which I somehow missed when young). Both have nice horn solos. Traffic, The Low Spark of High Heeled Boys, 1972 John Mayall, The Train, 1970.

What's in your vape right now?

Edit: This pic is better. Acapulco Gold (smalls), supposedly 29% THC, sativa, from Red Dirt Sungrown. First impression is that it has an interesting smooth but strong limonene/terpinolene flavor. Might have to taste it many, many times to evaluate it accurately. :haw::rofl:Had some "blonde"...

With my Bamboo HI set on 11.7 v, I fill the small reservoir only about half full, this means the flower never touches the heater screen. Then I insert the 3/8" SS tube only about half way between the lip and the heater screen. Draw slowly at first. Once it's warmed up, insert the tube fully...

Fleetwood Mac has always been one of my favorite bands. It's interesting to learn about the early years, including individual members like Danny Kirwan. I didn't know but he essentially made several of my favorite old songs. This band even influenced The Beatles with songs like Albatross.

What's in your vape right now?

Have been really enjoying a blend of dank strains lately, like Super Sour Diesel and Super Lemon Haze. I pulled out this Blue Dream earlier today and was amazed by the strong sweet berry smell. I guess contrast is everything. Bought this 7 months ago, have been in and out of the package...

Ok is the hidden gem for cannabis heads like me. Low prices, newish, clean, lots of jobs, minor traffic....IMO my home state of Texas has exploded with growth and a dangerously repressive state government. Ok is a red state in some ways (less regs, less bureaucracy, etc) but blue in the most...

I like the paper tube Alan sent (for free) with my Bamboo HI just fine, on the shelf. At first I got better hits with it. Now I'm thinking it's designed for larger volumes or with fluffy weed. Right or wrong, I prefer a relatively fine grind, and that works great in the small (unbreakable)...

I agree. Took me a year to learn that a small enough load for a single good hit is the way to go with my HI. :leaf: This gives me the best flavor and overall enjoyment compared to loading more and taking 2-3 hits. I put in almost enough finely ground herb to make me cough. Draw gently at...

    Mixing vaporization and edibles.

I have a new appreciation for gummies. I love weed but I was convinced that vaping is the only "good" consumption method. I've been unwilling to buy edibles, thought they were a rip-off. Boy, was I wrong. I'm finding that 25-50 mg of organic full spectrum cannabis + CBD is awesome. I...

Peter Green wrote the final version of Black Magic Woman, but Carlos Santana hit the charts in the US and made it famous. Oh well part 2 begins at the 2:20 mark. I'll bet you've never heard this totally unique song, or anything like it. Dreamy space music? Excellent 3-guitar...

What's in your vape right now?

Super Lemon Haze (smalls) from Red Dirt Sungrown is a cross between Super Silver Haze and Lemon Skunk. Proven genes from both parents made an excellent sativa hybrid. Strong hitting with a Lemon Skunkish flavor, might be too extreme for most folks. A little at a time in a crazy blend will...

    The HI

Thanks. I bought a replacement VVPS several months ago. A soldered connection on the VVPS power cord let go. I'm suspecting the heater this time. Alan@toasty-top.com

    The HI

Thanks. Im from the really old school. Does Alan have an email address? I also have a side question. Twice recently I've found my heater has shut off unexpectedly, and it took me a few minutes to get it going again. Not sure but it could be the heater jack. What tends to wear out first...

    The HI

Anyone know how to get more small pre-shaped screens for the 3/8" SS tube? The original two screens lasted more than a year, thanks to frequent ISO soaks, but they're not looking good. Thanks.
