No that is contrary to the principles of convection. Convection vapes are designed to work with looser material so that the hot air can flow through the material. Your basically forcing your vape to work as a conduction vape when your really just overheating your vaporizer!

personally, If I had a company making stems, i wouldn't make one with no screening built in, because, sure as the sun shines, some dofus would inhale a lung full of hot weed and sue.... You might be able to use a diamond drill bit and ream out a stem.
