@WakeAndVape the glass can take it, try it out, if it cracks I'll send you a new one. All the glass goes through a kiln and is annealed properly so I would be shocked if it cracked. Letting it cool properly (not dunking it in water or putting it in the fridge, etc) should prevent any issues.

Didn't take it wrong in the least and just wanted to make sure you knew we were listening. Glad you are enjoying it! I am not familiar enough with ed's butter to say for sure, but know the quality products he puts out, so I would say yes. (Just added our own finish to our accessories also).

There will be a woody taste to walnut longer then the cherry but it should go away fairly quickly. We are very careful about not getting finish in the bowl area so I would think it's just breaking in the walnut, but if it is a problem please let me know and we will take care of it immediately.

I agree with @WakeAndVape about the lighter. It will work, but we send it out to get you started moreso then be the end all torch. I use a cooking torch (creme broulet torch) at home and it works great.

I've tried both alconox and pbw and find alconox cleans faster and does not leave a residue like pbw (that is easily rinsed off). I think the main difference is leaving pbw for too long in a piece will result in a white film or line being left on the glass at the water line, while aloconox...

@tblast there is no advantage to buying them together. It will be an add on to the Brick that will cost the same either way and you could have the Brick now rather then wait for both.

@Slow Draw McGraw When using hydratubes on my UFO I generally drop the water level so it's not covering the perc in the UFO which will stop the back pressure. I've also used an OGB carb adapter instead of a 18mm M to M connector which also lets that pressure escape without back flow.

@pandaphysics it's not limited to hydratubes, but yes. With a whip connector you could use bubblers, J-hooks, etc. It will be a standard 18mm male connector capable of being added to the Brick.

I use some local moonshine on my glass but ISO alcohol will work. For the mouthpiece, put your thumb over one end pour in a very tiny amount of alcohol, swish it around, dump it, rinse with hot water, and it should be clean. No tools needed.
