Yeah I've taken one apart and basically had to mangle it in the process. There is no way to rebuild it as far as I can tell. Really unfortunate as this makes it impossible to actually clean the thing if you overfill with oil.

The Herc runs like a champ on the Sigelei 150W temp control! Still struggling with temp control on the Ni Kiss Globes though. Will report back later if I have better success.

The 8 definitely is not a plug n play mod. I really think @SamuraiSam or @THC SCIENTIFIC should make a video demonstrating proper adjustment/assembly. I also think the user manual should be changed to reflect this. It took me awhile to master and still the 8 requires periodic adjustments...

I may not be understanding you correctly but the Okeanos upgrade kit came out forever ago. If you buy a new Okeanos now it comes pre upgraded.

@THC SCIENTIFIC Thanks for the reply! I am actually not using a Kiss gen 3. The red blinky lights are happening on Kiss AC single coil and Kiss Globe Ti dual coil. This is pretty consistent. I can't get the Globe to fire at all and the AC requires unscrewing/screwing repeatedly.

If this is the case then I just need to hear officially word from @THC SCIENTIFIC and I will open a support ticket. There really needs to be a chart on the official site which states compatibility between the various products. In fairness to myself though the Kiss AC was specifically marketed...

@THC SCIENTIFIC Still looking for word on this. My Kiss AC with single coil also gives me red blinky lights very frequently. I'm constantly forced to unscrew the cart and rescrew it till it fires properly. New style Ti dual coil carts for the Kiss Globe never work.

It works but really does look terrible. I got the same adapter awhile back for testing some 601 W9 carts and a 510 temp control mod. Worked well enough for my testing but hideous to look at hah.

You want to get the donut shaped ceramic wick to absorb as much of the oil as possible. I've read different techniques on here and I think a lot has to do with how viscous your concentrate is. If your concentrate is fairly thick I've heard of people 'buttering' both sides of the wick and then...

@sethhobrin Try adjusting the bottom screw on the Herc like @lonelyhero suggests. Also if there is still a gap between the 8 and the threaded top cap then that means you should be able to adjust the gold nuts down bit by bit till the gap disappears but you still feel some resistance on those...

Agreed on the single coil. I've been using my AC with single coil on the new Omicron I got with great hits, flavor, and reasonable heat up times. Only issue there is I get the red blinky light a lot and have to fuss with unscrewing/screwing the AC.
